Note From Elisa Cavaliere:
During difficult times I found a home on my yoga mat. The practice transcended for me while dealing with my fathers illness and later his death. I found yoga Mentally caused me to slow down, grow patience, cherish every moment and understand the deeper meaning within every moment and every pose. Life moves fast and is filled with a million things to do but its the little detailed moments that can truly shape how we deal with it all. One of my fathers last “Nugget of wisdom” was about a book on living more in the present moment, this paralleled my yoga practice and seemed like the perfect message to share in his honor. ?

Starting the Conversation with Donors on Charitable Giving: A Charitable Tool Box @ Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine
Jun 9 @ 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm

This 2-credit charitable giving seminar will teach you how best to present complex structures to donors in light of their philanthropic goals, their assets, their family needs, and their tax concerns. Numerous technical rules apply to virtually every gift strategy, and failure to comply precisely can often lead to loss of the tax deduction for the gift or of tax-exemption for the structure created, because of noncompliance. An important part of charitable gift planning is meeting the complex regulatory requirements for valuation, including obtaining “qualified appraisals,” and acknowledgements of charitable contributions.

Held at the Jay Sexter Auditorium.

Limited Seating. Reserve by May 27, 2016

Buffet Dinner.

Fees: $35.00 Members of NYSSCPA OR $40.00 Non-members
